Can you deliver to me?
We use third party couriers to deliver to all major metro cities in Australia. We may be able to deliver to regional or rural locations. Kindly email us with your suburb and postcode and we can confirm if your location is serviced. All deliveries can be made to residential or business addresses. The courier will not deliver upstairs, up steps or via lifts. Delivery is to a ground floor doorstep only. The couriers are third party providers and do not unpack, do not assembled and will not take away packaging. We cannot deliver to a PO BOX. Please check to ensure your address is updated correctly prior to checkout.
How much does delivery cost?
The delivery fee will vary depending on your location which is calculated in your shopping cart or during checkout. If a delivery fee does not appear or you experience an issue, kindly email us with your suburb and postcode and we can confirm the delivery fee to your location.
Who will deliver my item?
We use third party couriers to deliver our items nationwide. All deliveries are to your front door or ground floor only with reasonably good access. Please also note that on larger assembled items, the courier driver may require assistance unloading the items from the vehicle. If assistance is not available, then a tail lift truck may be required to deliver the items. Please contact us for a quote for tail lift delivery if you require this service.
When will my order arrive?
Items that are in stock are dispatched within 2 working days after payment has cleared. Please allow for up to 7-10 working days from dispatch for all metro cities and up to 14 working days for selected regional areas. Delivery times are excluding weekends and delays can arise due to public holidays, peak periods or areas affected by natural disasters.
What if I am not home?
If the courier driver has missed you, they will leave your consignment at your front door or at a safe place at your residence. Please note local and interstate re-delivery fees will apply if they are unable to do so.
What if my item arrives damaged?
Please open the item in front of the courier driver upon delivery. If the items are damaged in any way the delivery must be signed for as DAMAGED and we must be notified of the damage immediately or within 24 hours of the item(s) being delivered. Photographic evidence will need to be supplied. Please do not discard or destroy the original packaging until the items have been checked. If items are damaged, kindly re-pack the items for collection by the couriers. The couriers can not collect damaged items when it is not packaged or if the packaging is not sufficient for the return journey.
Can I pick up?
Due to the nature of our commercial distribution centers, we are not equipped for public pick up. All consignments are dispatched using third party couriers to your location.
a) Please note on all mirrored or glass furniture the handles MUST NOT be over tighten. If over tightened, this can lead to the mirror or glass cracking. This is not covered under the standard wear and tear warranty issued with this product.
b) Please ensure that you hand tighten the handles and do not force them once any resistance is encountered. Do not use a screwdriver to tighten the handle under any circumstances.
c) The colour of the gold and silver components of the mirror furniture and white and black leather on upholstered furniture may slightly vary from your delivered item due to lighting during photo shooting coupled with your monitors display. Every computer monitor has a different capability to display colours and everyone sees these colours differently.
d) As all of our mirror furniture, wall mirrors and lounges are handmade by our expert artisans, there may be slight imperfections and variances in measurements (up to 35cm) as each piece is handcrafted with love. These slight imperfections do not affect the overall build quality, stability or quality of our beautiful pieces :)
e) General Care - Lounges
- When moving your sofa, do not lift it by the cushions sewn to the frame or by dragging it around. The best way is to lift it from the base.
- When removing protective wrapping, do not use sharp tools that may damage the sofa covering.
- Seating and backrest padding will become softer over time with use. Light creases may form on the cover following this as, the foam softens and the leather stretches. For even wear, you should alternate your choice of seat.
- You must ensure that the chair is declined back into its original, seated position prior to exiting your seat. If seating is exited while in reclined position, the excess body weight placed on the extended footrest will damage and dislodge the recliner motor, resulting in the seating being stuck in the reclined position. To rectify, a new motor can be supplied - charges will apply.
- To avoid your sofa fading, it is best not to expose it to direct sunlight. Your sofa should be placed at least 50cm away from any heat source.
- As tempting as it may be, armrests and backrests are not designed as seating.
- Due to the high powered German motors that we use in our home theater seating, you must plug the seating into a surge board or use surge protectors. By using a surge board, this will elongate the lifespan of the LED lights on the recliner controls from burning out due to fluctuations in current when charging devices via the USB ports and using the recliners. LED lights are a consumable, are not replacable and are not covered under warranty.
- To keep your sofa looking its best, you should plump and shape it weekly to ensure padding and upholstery return to their initial appearance.
- Lounges are shipped in modules to ensure that they fit through doorways and around corners of your home. No tools are required. Locking mechanisms are located on the seating modules and backrest modules allowing you to slot and lock seating together and backrest cushions into the associated seats.
f) Carport measurements may vary slightly by up to 200m as they are hand made and engineered. When building your foundations, please overbuild these to allow for some flex to accommodate slight size or style variations.
g) Safety is always a priority. When assembling your carport, a minimum of two people are required to install framework and roof sheeting. The carport must be anchored into your foundations securely before use.
h) Carport roof sheeting is supplied in individual panels, not in the full length of your elected carport size. The panels overlap each other on each bay and also from bay to bay. This is to ensure that it can be shipped to a depot close to you safely also allowing you to pick up your carport and roof sheeting without requiring extremely large vehicles or cranes to accommodate full length roof sheeting sizes and heavy weight.
i) Please check with your local council on their requirements prior to purchasing. We supply the carport as a kit set (portable structure) and do not have engineering forms or drawings to submit to council.
Refunds and Returns
Please choose carefully as refunds and exchanges are not permitted for change of mind or incorrect choice. Deposits made on custom orders are non-refundable. If you wish to cancel your order or are unable to accept delivery of your products, you agree to pay a cancellation charge of 30% on the entire purchase price of your order, as well as any applicable costs that may apply due to storage, handling, and restocking, at the sole discretion of Gritty Palace. Please note that returns, exchanges and refunds are not permitted on any clearance products.
To return an item, ensure that the item is re-packaged securely in its original packaging (or similar secure, safe packaging). As we use third party couriers, they will not pick up any items that are not re-packaged securely. Please contact us via email to commence the returns process. A return delivery fee as charged by the third party courier will be incurred. Any delivery fees (from us to you; or from you to us) are non refundable as we use third party couriers for the delivery of our items nationwide.

During your transaction, we do not store or even see your credit card or bank account details, unless you choose to give them to our customer service representatives directly. On these occasions, the information is disposed of and destroyed as soon as your transaction is completed.
To ensure the safety of your personal information, your details will be stored on an encrypted SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) server. If at any time you wish to have your information removed from our server, please contact our Privacy Officer. Please understand that your private information can only be removed after any outstanding transactions have been completed.
We will only pass on your information to third parties if we have your consent or if it is necessary to complete your transaction. For example, we may be required to pass on your name and address to a delivery company to ensure prompt delivery. We ensure that all third parties agree to strict confidentiality agreements and they will not store your information in any way once your transaction is completed. We may be required by law to disclose personal information to the police. This information remains under Gritty Palace custodianship at all times and the agents involved are bound by specific confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements. Otherwise, we promise not to ever sell, transfer or give away your private information to anyone at any time.
